Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, Indian Wells

We loved pretty much everything, but felt the bed/bedding was the best we have stayed in yet - including our previous stays as Marriott's, Sheraton and Hyatt resorts!

The location is stunning and nice with private parking available on-site. The employees are very helpful.

The room was a nice size with decent views of the mountains, a huge balcony, good showers and the breakfast was satisfactory. There were coffee & tea makers and refrigerators.

The room had not so great views.

I've stayed here many times in the last 10 yrs. It was one of my favorite hotels till this last trip. Our first day, there was absolutely nowhere to sit at the pool area. The pool was extremely over crowded. Employees and Security need to do a better job of vacating seats for guests who are actually at the pool. Second day, we arrived at the pool at 830 am and 60% of chairs had towels on them with nobody in sight for hours. Our room seemed to have been infested with tiny baby spiders on the ceiling. We didn't complain due to hearing hotel was sold out. We slept under the covers and hoped they wouldn't land on us.

Great way to end our trip. Gorgeous location, the room was updated and beds where nice. Great pool, parking on-site. Free parking, shuttle to tennis stadium. Location adjacent to Palm Springs or Palm Desert and the mountains and the Cava restaurant...

The hotel itself was stylish and fairly cleanwith a lobby bar.

Well, the views were not so great here.

Good food. Friendly staff. Nice room.

Hotel was only 9% filled. Felt a little too quiet.

The facilities were bright, new and abundant. The gym had lots of equipment. There were plenty of lounge chairs at the pool. The restaurant was nice and had a wonderful breakfast buffet.

The front desk gave me a room with shower with no bath tub facing entrance circular driveway even the hotel is not fully booked. I had to turn down two rooms to get a mountain view room. The hotel had 90% of rooms with pool, golf course, and mountain view and I don't understand whythe first one they gave me was the worst room with traffic noise when I am paying over $400/night. The front desk didnt bother to explain nor apologize. Noise from the refrigerator kept me all night. Next day a tech fixed it but no apologies from the management. The alarm set by the previous guest went off at 5 AM and I think the housekeeping should have reset before I checked in.

Heat. Nothing you could do about it.

Of course 90% of our time was spent at the pool given the heat. At the pool, we were harassed by clouds of flies. We could not escape them. They were a constant irritation!

nice clean rooms comfortable beds, we have 4 children the adjoining rooms are a plus.

no microwave, the kids love microwave popcorn and always take their supply when we travel. most places now have free internet.

The hotel pool and rooms are amazing.

Prices of drinks and food at the bar.

The spacious corner room offered fine views, but dining options were limited.
